Complex Trauma and PTSD
Trauma impacts us in ways that often go unseen — shaping how we relate to others, how we see ourselves, and how safe we feel in the world.
My practice is centered around helping individuals navigate the effects of complex trauma and Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), particularly stemming from childhood neglect, emotional abuse, relationship trauma, and repeated or prolonged exposure to distressing experiences.
I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients can begin to gently unpack historical experiences that are impacting the here and now.
Whether you're dealing with emotional flashbacks, dissociation, difficulty trusting, chronic self-doubt, or a persistent feeling of being “stuck,” therapy can help you begin to understand these survival responses.
Together, we work to with the nervous system to return safety, increase emotional regulation, process traumatic memories at your own pace, and reconnect with a more grounded and empowered sense of self.
I incorporate trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, parts work (including Internal Family Systems), somatic practices, and relational therapy.
